The school year almost ends, and class of 2019 is looking forward to their last year in high school. Senior year could be stressful if students were not prepared because of college applications and graduation. So, here are some tips that would help the upcoming seniors to be ready for next year.

“Definitely start your essays ahead of time,” senior Yanran Wang said. “And college visit was a really good way for me to make decision of where to go. Also, you can still take SAT and ACT next semester and you can always send the college your best score even after submitting the application.”

“I would have to say my biggest advice for next year’s seniors is to really cherish the time you have left with not just your friends but everyone around you including your family,” senior Janam Bhatt said. “You will be surprised on how many people you will meet at the end of high school hoping you met them earlier. So make the most of it.”

“SAT matters, but don’t be overwhelmed by it,” senior Jessie Xiao said. “And don’t procrastinate college app, and don’t slack off too much senior year.”

“My tip is to fight through senioritis to turn in all work,” senior Maria Alvarado said.

“It is never too late to try something new, so look for things you’re passionate about,” senior Amaya Bremauntz said. “Enjoy the small moments and don’t stress too much about college. You will end up where you need to be.”

“First, you should get started with college apps early since senior year isn’t as chill as you might think,” senior Angela Liu said. “Then don’t procrastinate, not because you can get ahead of work and other stuff, but because you are going to need to sleep more.”

“Don’t fizzle out at the end of the school year,” senior Chris LoNigro said. “Don’t procrastinate college decisions. Be spontaneous and open to trying new things. And make great memories.”
