The Perks of Being Tall

The Perks of Being Tall

Trey Vondenstein, Sports Editor

In a world where the population is becoming progressively taller, the shorter people are becoming more isolated. But what can be wrong with being tall? I mean, being tall is great isn’t it?

Well sure, being tall is great. There’s nothing better than being able to walk down the hallways and stare at the top of everyone’s heads. And being able to be spotted from across the cafeteria just because you stood up, is a plus too. But there’s nothing wrong with that, right?

Of course not. What’s wrong with having to buy a new pair of blue jeans every year because you keep growing out of them? And there’s nothing better than constantly having to buy new shoes.

But the thing that has to be the best about being tall, is the ability to hit your head on any car door, cabinet, or low hanging chandelier. As long as you try your best to not jump in a room with a ceiling fan, it’s pretty safe.

Being able to ride anything at an amusement park is a huge plus. Especially if you don’t handle roller coasters very well, the easy accessibility is amazing and extremely convenient. But at least you’re tall.

Overall, being tall is amazing and has absolutely no drawbacks. The perks of being above six foot are unreal, and if you are capable of experiencing them, it should be considered a privilege.
