47 students attended the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Chicago from June 27-July 3 to represent Texas in various events, and five students received national recognition.  In individual events, Naveen Chokkar placed fourth in Securities & Investments, Kirthi Dronamraju placed seventh in FBLA Principles & Procedures, Clio Sun placed eight in Business Procedures, and Prateek Mahajan placed tenth in Database Design & Application.  Pranay Tamminayana placed first in the open event, Leadership, and currently serves as the Area V Vice President. As a chapter, Seven Lakes won the 2015 Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit, the FBLA Outstanding Chapter Award, and the award for the 2^nd Largest Chapter in the Mountain Plains region with 278 members.   In addition to the competitions, students immersed themselves in educational workshops, visited an information-packed exhibit hall, and attended motivational keynotes on a broad range of business topics.
