47 students attended the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Chicago from June 27-July 3 to represent Texas in various events, and five students received national recognition.  In individual events, Naveen Chokkar placed fourth in Securities & Investments, Kirthi Dronamraju placed seventh in FBLA Principles & Procedures, Clio Sun placed eight in Business Procedures, and Prateek Mahajan placed tenth in Database Design & Application.  Pranay Tamminayana placed first in the open event, Leadership, and currently serves as the Area V Vice President. As a chapter, Seven Lakes won the 2015 Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit, the FBLA Outstanding Chapter Award, and the award for the 2nd Largest Chapter in the Mountain Plains region with 278 members.   In addition to the competitions, students immersed themselves in educational workshops, visited an information-packed exhibit hall, and attended motivational keynotes on a broad range of business topics.
