Studio VII Presents Charlotte’s Web

In the fall of 2019, Studio VII is putting on the production of Charlotte’s Web on from Oct. 10 to Oct. 13. There are various showtimes for each day: 7 p.m. on Thursday, 7 p.m. on Friday, and finally, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Charlotte’s Web is a well-known story following a pig named Wilbur. It features his friendships with his young caretaker, Fern Arable, as well as with the rest of his barnyard pals. One of them is a spider named Charlotte, who later finds out that Wilbur will be slaughtered in the winter due to his small size. To save his life, Charlotte weaves words praising Wilbur into her web, believing the humans will spare his life if they think he is extraordinary. Everyone in the county comes to marvel at Wilbur and the beautiful web they believe to be his. With all of this effort, however, Charlotte soon exerts all of her energy and passes away, entrusting Wilbur with her eggs. He protects them and preserves Charlotte’s memory as payment for how she saved his life.

Tickets are available on studiovii.org two weeks prior to the opening night on Oct. 10. Additionally, they can be found at lunches the weeks prior and of the show or at the door before the performance. Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for adults. Studio VII, the cast, and the crew hope to see you there.
